Used as an antioxidant in fluoroborate tin plating and tin alloys, as well as other plating additives. For the production of phenolic resin, bisphenol A, caprolactam, aniline, alkylphenol and so on. It is used in the petroleum refining industry as a fine selective extraction solvent for lubricating oil, and also in the plastic and pharmaceutical industries.
